Kind staff. Clothing done on time and nicely pressed.
They lost my suit pants from 5 months ago. He told us to bring in the jacket so he knew that to look for and come back in 5 days. 7 days later, he hasn't even LOOKED.
I don't know how this place stays in business. They ruined a very expensive dress that I brought in with a tiny, tiny dot of red wine. I even debated having the dress cleaned. When I picked up the dress I lifted the plastic to see if the stain was gone but I never got that far. There were black streaks up and down the dress. The dress was champagne color. I started to cry! The women behind the counter was sort of understanding but told me I would have to speak with the owner who was not there at the time. I went back the next day and was told there was nothing they could do! And they were not nice! When I tell this story to others, people tell me additional horror stories such as wedding gowns that were cleaned and boxed. When opened some time later there are stains on the gowns. I don't know how the other cleaners are in Pittsfield but Royal is a nightmare.
The Woman at the front is always very friendly. I've gone back twice since the first time because they have done such a fantastic job! Prices are fair & the timeline for pickup isn't bad at all! I've never had any issues, I had my motorcycle jacket with body armor, Coach trench coat, Harley vest that laces up, down vest, etc. Everything has come out beautiful! I could not be happier.
Worst dry cleaner you can find. When they damage your clothes, they do not take responsibility. Refused to call me back to resolve the issue. Not sure how they survive for so long..... someone needs to do something about it.
