Onota lake is the nicest lake ive been to next to lake George. Its perfect. Far enough from down town pittsfield to keep the scumbags a bay.
It is always beautiful and clean there.
Spend time with your dog or go for a swim.
Have a picnic, go boating, soak in some sun and let the children play at the playground.
You can take your whole family with you.

Got out of the car and immediately saw a mother buying drugs while a hobo watched her kid. Then a creepy man followed me and my son around until he saw my husband. This park needs more security. It was absolutely gorgeous but the park goers were super sketchy. Definitely ruined my experience.
The scenery is so gorgeous and peaceful.
