Only a couple trains a day through here and you need to get tickets online. In same spot as interstate and local bus depot in downtown Pittsfield. I think a lot of homeless people spend time here
The station itself wasn't so bad I suppose, the real problem was staff incompetence.

Right in the center of downtown if your train bus or local bus is late there's plenty to do.
Nobody ever came to announce anything. The woman at the service counter closed and left about 15 minutes before she was supposed to leave.
A good way to travel
My train was delayed almost half an hour, and we were told that an employee would let everyone know when the train arrives.
