Just picked up a loaf of chocolate bread and cinnamon bread at The Big E, the chocolate bread was so wonderful toasted with butter, I just had to come write this review! Wish Pittsfield wasn't so far away...

Very nice baguette. A thick type, fluffy and crumby, like eating air but with more substance than a croissant. Not chewy at all. Prices excellent.
Every crumb I’ve ever had from Pittsfield Rye has been exceptional. No exaggeration whatsoever. I send loaves to my family in the midwest and just got a call from my sandbox buddy in Los Angeles telling me that all she wants for Christmas is a loaf of Pittsfield Rye seeded rye bread! The staff and owners are warm, friendly, and professional. My only wish is that they had more hours. I recommend them and their products completely and without reservations of any kind.
read the ingredients in pittsfield Berkshire rye bread. It has no rye flour! It has rye chops..a berry sort of like a seed.. It also has other seeds such as seseme. Might as well call this seseme bread since the rye chops are listed as being about equal to seseme and sunflower seeds. Last time we buy their "rye".
