Like every other customer service experience, it completely depends on who's helping you. When we walked in, we just needed assistance with a software update. One guy couldn't be bothered with our questions, giving snarky answers, etc. But, Mike stepped in and gave us great advice - we ended up upgrading 2 phones with him. The sad part is, I believe Mr. Snarky was Mike's supervisor. Definitely should have been the other way around in my opinion.
Showed up to pay my bill at 1 min after closing store was full of customers and door was locked they would not open for me to use mechine to pay bill would have took 2 mins and they still had customers Inside .. ugh
I went in because my phone all of the sudden stopped working. It was fine 2 minutes before I plugged it in my charger then I was out of a phone for the rest of the day. After I got out of work I was so excited to go to Verizon on Hubbard ave and get some good assistance about what could have happened. I was wrong. I gave my phone to the worker, he began examining it as if I were at the hospital. He was using a brush and a thing that looks similar to what you use when the DR checks your ears; he was looking for damage. He said it was because something was in the charger port and that is why it is not charger. After I explained that that was not the issue he blamed me for water damage. After I explained to him that it was NOT water damaged he simply said I can pay $150 dollars through insurance, or get a brand new phone and pay $300 dollars "when the company found that the phone was damaged". After leaving red in the face from this man being so useless and not caring that I would not have a phone... I went to a local apple repair store. They had found in 2 minutes that the phone was NOT damaged by me at all, and were able to send it right to an apple repair site where even they found NOTHING wrong. Moral of the story, unless you plan on paying more money than god to receive awful service from people just telling you what you did wrong and not assisting you in any way....head the other direction! Wish I could switch plans but there is a cost to end the plan so I wont be doing that anytime soon. Ill be sticking to other phone retailers and doing everything in my power to not go to the useless place ever again :)
Say what you want about the company, but the staff at this store was very good to me. They were honest and helped me navigate cancelling AT&T and keeping my old number, which you think would be easy but it was a total mess.
The manager Shaun was extremely helpful and friendly. The entire team was very friendly to one another and promptly greeted myself and others without being “stalker-like.”
I would definitely recommend this location and Shaun!
Shaun was very patient and helped me set up my new phone. I have a lot of things for work that I can’t transfer over WiFi and manual setups that I needed to copy. He waited and ensured that I had everything from my old phone necessary for work before we deleted the info.
